Lake Pend Oreille
Idaho’s largest lake is 43 miles long and has dozens of small lakes and many streams and rivers replenishing it daily. The lake’s name is derived from an Indian Tribe called Pend Oreilles by early French trappers because they wore pendant ornaments in their ear lobes. Fish from the bridge and break Lake Pend Oreille’s world record 37 pound Kamloop record.
