Things To Do

Evergreen State Fairgrounds
Horse shows throughout the summer. In October, Country Caye’s Rodeo Championship and the N.W. Sports Horse Show. In November, Motorcross indoor racing and all breed dog show. December, Evergreen Country Christmas Craft Show. For more information, call 425-339-3309.
Evergreen State Fair
The State’s largest County Fair! For twelve days, starting in late August and ending on Labor Day, the fair offers a whole spectrum of exhibits and events. There is everything from pig racing to logger shows and chain saw carving. A carnival, various small stages and both pop and country headliners provide visitors a wide selection of entertainment opportunities.
Fair Days Parade and Fun Run
The kick off event for the Evergreen State Fair, there is a 10K and 2K run on a USTAF certified course through streets on the west side of Monroe. A BIG parade follows the race with over 100 entries including music, drill teams, floats, horses, antique and classic cars, race cars, clowns, crazy specialties and lots of kids.
Northwest Draft Horse and Mule Extravaganza
Held annually in late September at the Evergreen Equestrian Park. This spectacular display of glorious draft horses features many breeds as well as mule teams and miniature horses all competing in pulling contests and exciting figure eights.
Boeing Tour Center
Tour the Boeing final assembly plant, the world’s largest building on view. Free 90 minute tours are available on a first come, first serve basis, Monday through Friday, (must be at least 45” tall). For more information, call 425-342-4801.
Forest Park Animal Farm
802 Mukilteo Boulevard. Visit Forest Park and pet real farm animals. Open April through September 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. 425-259-0300
Marysville
