| Evergreen State Fair |
| The State’s largest County Fair! For twelve days, starting in late August and ending on Labor Day, the fair offers a whole spectrum of exhibits and events. There is everything from pig racing to logger shows and chain saw carving. A carnival, various small stages and both pop and country headliners provide visitors a wide selection of entertainment opportunities. |

| Fair Days Parade and Fun Run |
| The kick off event for the Evergreen State Fair, there is a 10K and 2K run on a USTAF certified course through streets on the west side of Monroe. A BIG parade follows the race with over 100 entries including music, drill teams, floats, horses, antique and classic cars, race cars, clowns, crazy specialties and lots of kids. |

| Northwest Draft Horse and Mule Extravaganza |
| Held annually in late September at the Evergreen Equestrian Park. This spectacular display of glorious draft horses features many breeds as well as mule teams and miniature horses all competing in pulling contests and exciting figure eights. |
