The unique gardens are delightful; Rose Hill has formal beds with over 1,500 rose bushes; the Lilac Garden and the Duncan Gardens - 3 acres of classical European Renaissance, plus the Japanese Gardens with gold fish ponds and more. There is a Duck Pond, Tennis Courts, an open Play Area and Picnic Facilities.
Centennial Trail
This Trail was conceived to celebrate Washington State’s 100th birthday in 1989. The Trail follows the Spokane River for 37 miles, then threads its way eastward for another 21 miles. You can enjoy Running, Biking, Skating, Walking and Roller Blading while taking in the beautiful surroundings of the river.

Cat Tales Endangered Species Conservation Park
Located 6 miles from the Division Street “Y” on the Newport Hwy. The tour of the Park will take you within 8 feet of over 2 dozen exotic cats found throughout the world.
